Hello, Friends!
Here’s something new for the Reading Room: a 15-minute, off-the-cuff video of Little Old Yours Truly thinking over the 1924 fantasy classic, The King of Elfland’s Daughter.
(Spoiler: I loved it!)
As I explain in the video’s intro, I shoot for a full Substack article every other week, but over the past 18 months I’ve discovered I actually have a few more “bookish” things to chat about with you. Because some may not be worthy of a full article, and I don’t currently have capacity for extra essay writing, I thought I’d give this video format a shot. (Despite cringing when I look upon my ugly mug on camera… Yeesh!)
I’d love to know your thoughts—not only on the novel, but on whether you enjoy this impromptu video format.
Thanks for stopping by!
